The Chesapeake Arts Center is seeking Interns
The Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC) is a 58,000 sq. ft. multi-discipline arts facility located in Northern Anne Arundel County, just south of Baltimore, Maryland. The facility houses a 816-seat Hammonds Lane Theatre, a 110-seat Studio 194 Theatre, gallery space, ceramics lab, dance studios, music room, scene-shop and classrooms.

Chesapeake Arts Center will use the arts to excite, educate, engage, inspire and grow this community’s people, it’s artists and the region through performances, exhibitions, classes, and collaborations with artists, educators, business and community leaders and organizations.
CAC is looking for help around the MakerSpace which has a full woodshop, metal shop, computer lab, 3d printers, vinyl cutter, laser cutter and silk screening facilities. Interns will receive training on all areas of the shop and have free access to the equipment for the duration of the internship.
Duties include assisting during classes, maintaining shop/equipment etc. and possibly interacting with young children.
Someone with experience in rapid prototyping is a plus, but not a requirement.
