For over twenty years, painter Kelly Sullivan, a pioneer in the field of collaborative art and founder of FingerSmears (Sullivan’s signature method of collaborative painting) has sparked artistic expression and creative fuel in hundreds of thousands of lives. Innovating this concept to fit the digital world, Sullivan is currently launching Paint.Team – a web based application that will allow people from all over the world to collaborate on art projects. This application will allow artists to submit custom projects for their own clients, as well as launch public projects to create social change through art. Revenue opportunities for artist include sponsored projects and usage fees generated from their template designs.
The studio will be in full swing this summer with the launch of this new web application. Custom projects will be targeted toward large corporate events and educational institutions, while the general public will have free access to this application and can create their own collaborative projects by choosing from a catalog of template designs, and inviting their friends and families to participate. Student interns will be given upgraded access to the application that will allow them to create templates, edit color palettes, design approved public projects and more. This is also a working fine art oil painting studio.
